Juniperus Virginiana ‘Blue Arrow’

Blue Arrow Juniper

Evergreen conifer with an extremely narrow, upright columnar habit, forming a very tight and architectural vertical accent. Its growth is dense, uniform, and naturally symmetrical, making it ideal where space is limited but strong vertical structure is desired.

The foliage is composed of fine, scale-like leaves held closely against the stems. Its color is a strong silvery-blue to steel blue, maintaining excellent color intensity throughout the year, especially in full sun.

Juniperus virginiana ‘Blue Arrow’ prefers full sun and well-drained soil, thriving in sandy, rocky, and lean soils. It does not tolerate wet or poorly drained conditions. Once established, it shows very high drought tolerance, excellent cold hardiness, and strong resistance to wind and urban pollution. It is ideal for tight vertical accents, narrow hedges, screening in confined spaces, and formal architectural plantings.
