Picea Omorika ‘Nana’

Dwarf Serbian Spruce

Dwarf evergreen conifer with a compact, rounded to broadly pyramidal habit, forming a dense and attractive small specimen. It is a slower-growing selection of Serbian Spruce, valued for its compact size, fine texture, and elegant foliage coloration.

The foliage consists of short, flattened needles arranged along dense branches. The upper surface is dark green while the underside has a distinctive silvery-white coloration, creating a subtle two-tone effect that gives the plant a shimmering appearance throughout the year.

Picea omorika ‘Nana’ prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It adapts to a variety of soil types, including slightly acidic to neutral soils, and performs best in cool climates with consistent moisture. Once established, it shows moderate drought tolerance, excellent cold hardiness, and good resistance to urban conditions. It is ideal for rock gardens, foundation plantings, containers, mixed borders, and small landscape areas.
