Juniperus Sabina ‘Arcadia’

Arcadia Savin Juniper

Evergreen conifer with a low, spreading habit, forming a dense, wide shrub. Its branches extend outward in a layered, slightly arching pattern, creating a uniform but natural-looking groundcover with good structure and coverage.

The foliage is composed mainly of fine, scale-like leaves, with occasional juvenile needle-like growth. Its color is a soft green to gray-green, maintaining a consistent appearance throughout the year. When crushed, the foliage releases a strong, characteristic odor typical of Juniperus sabina.

Juniperus sabina ‘Arcadia’ prefers full sun and well-drained soil, thriving in poor, sandy, or rocky conditions. It tolerates dry to moderately dry soils and performs well in exposed and harsh environments. Once established, it shows high drought tolerance, good resistance to difficult conditions, and moderate tolerance to pollution and salt. It is ideal for groundcover, slopes, naturalized areas, and erosion control.
